SALTA

from Chile i went back to argentinia. a 11-hours bus drive (finally in a comfortable argentinian bus again) brought me to salta. salta is a beautiful small city surrounded by very nice nature. i spent one day looking at the center and another day i explored san lorenzo, 20 minutes outside salta (by bus) and definatly worth a visit. me and a friend from switzerland also went out one night whichwas fun although not really our style concerning people and music. but well, we tried it out... i liked the atmosphere in salta a lot and could have stayed some days longer but cordoba was calling ...

CORDOBA

back to real city life. cordoba is packed with students which give the city a very young and nice spirit. for me it was nice to see it but since i didn´t have the time and energy anymore to explore the surrounding area outside cordoba, i didn´t cons! ider it so special. the nature between salta and cordoba is really nice and perfect for outdoor sports. there are a lot of things to see and do but after travelling for 3 weeks i was tired of exploring and wanted to go back to buenos aires to enjoy my last week among my friends and in a yet known environment.

my whole trip to peru, bolivia and chile was great. i enjoyed it a lot and took some unforgetable memories with me. regarding all organization, i was always lucky. actually i didn´t expect to arrive in chile that early and therefore even had time to visit salta and cordoba which was very nice. everything -except for my eye problem- went perfect! a great journey which i can only highly recommend for everyone travelling in south america.
